 Small Groups at Constance

Our goal at Constance is to see transformation take place in each of our lives. We believe that this happens best in the form of a small group community, and that God has designed each one of us to live in significant community relationships.

What is a Small Group?
• 6-10 people
• Meeting in homes, here at church, coffee shops, etc.
• Made up of couples, singles, men only, women only, mixed or similar life-stages

Why join a Small Group?
• Because it’s modeled in the Bible (Acts 2 – The church “met together in homes, ate together, and shared.”)
• We grow together in the 5 G values: grace, growth, group, gifts and generosity
• We create lasting friendships with people who care

How do Small Groups Function?
• Groups decide day, time, location and frequency of meeting together
• Groups may choose to eat together, pray together, serve together, study together
• Most Constance Small Groups use Drive it Home – our weekly message-based curriculum, designed to “drive home” our weekend messages

How do I join a Small Group?
• Click here to register online
• Preregister to attend our fall Grouplife event on Sunday, October 3
• Register to attend a Starting Point Small Group – offered several times during the year

Starting Point

Starting Point is a small group opportunity offered several times during the year. This 4-week class is led by several Constance staff-members who will facilitate small group discussions around topics of grace, growth, group, gifts, and generosity. At the completion of Starting Point you will have the opportunity to join in a sermon-based home small group. An optional membership session is offered as a follow-up to Starting Point.

Upcoming Starting Point sessions will begin on the following dates:

  • Sunday, September 12 (10:45 am - noon)

AffinityPlus@Constance!

Check out our newest venture at Constance! AffinityPlus is an informal way to connect to other people at Constance based on a common interest. The affinity may be a shared activity or concern for a given issue. Current options include biking, running, knitting, tennis, chess, and more.
