What is a small group?
A small group is a gathering of 6-16 people that meet on a regular basis to encourage each other in their walk with Christ. Most of the groups at Constance connect people who are in a similar stage of life, from being single or married, to parents of young children and empty nesters. Groups that need childcare usually meet at Constance and most others meet in homes. While each group takes on its own style and format, all have the following in common: The people of God gather around the Word of God and invite the Spirit of God to lead them. When that happens, good things take place.
What do groups do?
A typical small group has several common activities: A time of socializing with food, Bible study, and prayer. More and more of our groups are looking for opportunities to serve together a few times a year, in an effort to find ways to bless our world. The basic idea of the small group experience at Constance is to spend meaningful time together.
When do groups meet?
Our groups meet at various times throughout the week. It is our hope that one of the groups we offer will meet your unique scheduling needs. In fact, a number of our groups meet at church on nights when your children may already be involved in programming. There is also childcare available for a number of the groups that meet at Constance. We’ve worked hard to provide a variety of small group options so that you can choose the small group opportunity that is perfect for your schedule.
Who leads my group?
Small groups at Constance are led by people from every walk of life and from every season of life. Our leaders are usually folks who began as small group participants just like you, who grew to love the experience and wanted to reinvest in their community.
When and how do I join a small group?
Right now is the perfect time to join a small group. You can register online.
