We’re hosting a workshop to help you learn more about anxiety. Licensed therapists will lead this workshop to help us understand the origins of anxiety, how it shows up, and how to manage it. We'll meet in the Community Room.
This workshop will be led by Trish Thacker, MSW, LICSW who has been a therapist for 20 years, with specialized training in interpersonal neurobiology, attachment, trauma treatment (EMDR, Narrative Exposure Therapy), anxiety/anxiety disorders, addictions, family systems, eating disorders and more.
Trish is also an experienced presenter and seminar leader, using humor and discussion to engage her audiences. She has provided education and training on topics including but not limited to: neural development of children and adolescents, the interpersonal neurobiology of trauma, attachment, the biology of anxiety, the mind-body connection, sex addiction, codependency, boundaries, forensics/psychopathology, family dynamics, the development of resilience and grit, leadership, team building, anger management and more.
