COMING MID-MAY!

We are thrilled to announce the following facility updates coming soon to Constance. We are thankful for the provision of God and generosity of our church community for bringing us to this point.

EXTERIOR

Our current facility has experienced some aging and, of course, every facility has a cycle of improvements and repairs to maintain. While we completed a much-needed HVAC replacement in 2021, part of our exterior has since been out of compliance with the City’s safety and facing requirements. Through the years, sections of our exterior EIFS have also experienced increased cracking, and the stone facade is breaking down near parts of our entrance. Beginning this spring, we will reface sections of the exterior to meet City requirements. Through savings and funding we have already received, our plan is to reclad the walls near the main entrance, add privacy fencing around our HVAC and utility panels, and paint the East facing education wing to create one cohesive front on the areas most visible from our parking lot. Our aging canopy is also getting a streamlined modern overhang to complete the new look.

COMMUNITY ROOM

We are humbly grateful to announce we will also be able to accomplish another goal of our Master Plan ahead of schedule. This project will begin in the middle of May after student ministries conclude their weekly school-year programming. The Community Room will receive fresh paint, carpet, and other finishes with upgraded technology to better serve our thriving Traditions Service and better functionality for continued multipurpose use, which includes everything from café, Kids Club, student ministries, and special events. We'll also add a closet to the far west wall for better storage, eliminating the current pipe and drape. The Community Room will be closed during construction, and the project should be completed by mid-summer.
