Our last full day. So bittersweet, so much hard, hot work. But we met such beautiful, generous people. Miss Betty, who is 89 years old was so faithful to Jesus that it was awe-inspiring. We almost finished tearing off and replacing the shingles on her roof, she cried at one point being so grateful and enjoying the times that members of our team had conversations with her. All of our teams worked hard through the hot Louisiana weather and there was no complaining, the Joy of our Lord and the desire to serve was so evident in all the work that was done. What an honor to work alongside these people. The staff of reach global was, as always, so patient, and supportive. I would highly recommend that all Constance members give short-term missions a try. Remember to push yourselves, service always requires some level of discomfort, but it yields much growth. Thanks to Constance Free Church in their support of missions to help its people mature in their walk with our Lord.
