We're all meant for community. Not only do we know God uses community to help shape us, but our lives are more fulfilling when shared with others. That's why we want you to connect to a small group!
We were created by God to live in community. The account of creation tells us the idea of a person living in isolation is "not good" (Genesis 2:18). Being part of a small group is an intentional step towards being connected to others in relationships.
It's in relationship with others that our walk with God is given the opportunity to be encouraged and challenged. Talking through a Bible story or passage brings the truth about God and his ways into a more personal and practiced level.
The two great commands tell us we should "love God" and "love others." In a small group we can put this into regular practice. Over 50 "one another" passages in the Bible tell us to do such things as encourage one another, serve one another, and pray for one another. We can't know everyone in a large church well enough to be involved this deeply, but we can as a part of a small group.
Life has its challenges and unexpected hardships. Our Care Ministries is here to respond meaningfully in times of need. We offer pastoral urgent care, helping hands for meals in times of recovery after surgery, grief and divorce care groups, Christian counseling, Stephen Ministry, financial counseling, and more. We also come alongside when people are experiencing a crisis and need food support, mental health resources, or housing assistance.
There are a variety of ways for women to meaningfully connect at Constance. Whether you are looking for a Bible Study, friendship, or encouragement - there's a place for you here!
These studies provide a great opportunity to grow in your knowledge of God as well as connect with other women from our community.
Moms of young children are invited to enjoy a "night out" at church twice a month on the 2nd & 4th Thursdays to connect with other moms. This informal gathering includes Bible-based conversation, a speaker or activity, and time to relax and refresh. Child care is not provided at this time.
Get connected at Constance with other men who desire to grow in their relationship with Jesus.
We have several small groups of guys who meet to study God’s Word and for mutual accountability. There are groups that meet in the morning before the workday and others that meet in the evening and another that meets Saturday morning, so there should be something that will fit into your schedule. If interested, please contact us to see what groups currently have available space.
Throughout the year there are various events that are for men only. From attending a retreat at Camp Shamineau to a more informal gathering around a bonfire to getting together for a special breakfast, there is often something coming up on the calendar. From time to time there is a special work project to help a family in need. Please sign up for our men’s events email.
Join our growing community of young adults at Constance! Whether you are fresh out of high school, working on your college degree, or already in the workforce, we have a place for you. Our young adult small groups value being a welcoming place for you to belong as you discover God’s purpose for this stage of your life through our Bible studies and times of fellowship. Contact Josiah Gould if you have any questions or want to join a group!
PrimeTime is a gathering of those who might be retired from the workforce but have not retired from growing in Christ and serving Him. PrimeTime meets Wednesday mornings at 10:00am for a time of encouragement, fellowship, prayer, and studying God’s Word. Those who attend will find a community of caring and welcoming followers of Jesus. No registration is required. If you'd like more information, contact Rich Patrow.
