Annual Meeting 2021

Dear Constance Family,

You are invited to the Annual Congregational Meeting on Sunday, July 11 from 12:15pm to 2:00pm.  We’re pleased to announce the meeting will be in person this year in the Community Room and lunch will be served. There are several agenda items we’ll be covering:

FY 2021 Review

We’ll spend time reviewing the things God has done through Constance this past year, despite the significant challenges with the pandemic. Join us as we review God’s blessings and guidance on our ongoing ministries, initiatives, staffing, etc.

FY 2022 Budget

For those of you who are Members at Constance, one of your responsibilities is to review and approve the annual budget. God has blessed Constance significantly during the pandemic!  We remain in strong financial condition with our mortgage now paid off. We’re providing support to the community in many ways and look forward to increasing engagement in our neighborhoods & world as the pandemic wanes to help even more people connect with Jesus.

EFCA Statement of Faith Affirmation and Constance Constitution Update

The EFCA updated Article 9 in the EFCA Statement of Faith in 2019, removing the word “premillennial” and replacing it with the word “glorious”.  The EFCA Statement of Faith is part of the Constance Free Church Constitution, therefore, we desire to have members affirm the EFCA change, as well ratify this one-word change in our Constitution.

If you desire more information on Article 9, a virtual Q&A will be hosted by the Constance Elders on Sunday, June 13 from 1 to 2 pm. Zoom meeting: https://zoom.us/j/98500643803
Passcode: 555463  Or, if you desire an in-person meeting, the Elders will host an in-person session Sunday, June 27 in Loft North from 12:15 - 1:15pm.

Elder Nomination & Annual Affirmation

Another responsibility of members is the approval of new elders and affirming existing elders.  At the Annual Meeting we would like to present one or more new Elder candidates for your affirmation. You will also be affirming the existing elders, all but one of whom are standing for affirmation. DJ Miller will be stepping off the board at this time to focus more time in disciple-making ministry expansion.

New Members & Guests

Are you a new member since last July? Then this is your first opportunity to vote on these important congregational items concerning the direction of Constance. And although guests cannot vote, we welcome guests – it is a great way to learn more about Constance.

We hope you can join us for this important meeting.

Sincerely in Christ,
Chuck Hayes,
Chairman, Board of Elders
