COME ON OVER!
Your neighbors are closer than you think. They live 30 feet away, but most of the time we barely know them. Neighborhoods can be places where people encourage each other, look out for one another, and share life together. A block party is one of the simplest ways to close that gap.
Constance has a Block Party Trailer available to regular attenders, loaded with a bounce house, yard games, a sound system, and more. You handle the invitations. The trailer handles the rest.
If you want help planning something worth showing up for, download the Block Party Packet. It covers everything from gauging your neighbors' interest to what to do the day of the party, including how we can use this party to share and show the love of Jesus!
The trailer comes stocked and ready. You get a commercial grade bounce house, cornhole boards, Spike Ball, ladder ball, Kan Jam, Connect Four, Tetris, Bocce Ball, a Slip 'n' Slide, a fire bowl, canopies, tables, a full sound system with microphones, and more! Whether you're hosting ten neighbors or forty, there's more than enough to fill an afternoon.
What’s in the Trailer?
-
There is a $50 fee due at the time of reservation. The reservation fee helps with the ongoing maintenance and resourcing of the trailer.
-
The $50 reservation fee should not hinder you from reaching out to your neighborhood! If you and/or your neighbors are unable to pay the fee, please contact the church office and we will work with you.
-
In order to make the trailer available to as many people as possible, please make sure any cancellations are made as soon as possible. Inclement weather will be an exception.
-
The trailer will require a 2” ball, 4-way connector and a vehicle that can safely tow 3,000 lbs. If you do not have this setup, you will need to find a way to tow the trailer safely. Unfortunately, Constance is not able to provide this service at this time.
-
We strongly recommend that you contact Gopher State One Call at least 48 hours in advance of your Block Party to help avoid costly damages and personal injury from 18” steel stakes that are into the ground for the inflatable and canopy tents. Please note that the inflatable can cause damage to a lawn even through regular use. The inflatable and canopy tents should NOT be set up on hard surfaces, such as asphalt and concrete, to help with safety and longevity.
-
The inflatable must be placed on a truly flat surface. There should be a dedicated electrical outlet on the exterior of your house or inside of your garage for the inflatable. The outlets should ideally connect to different circuits, and be no further than 100 feet from the setup area.

The Block Party Trailer is a resource provided by Constance Free Church for the sole purpose of neighborhood block parties and sanctioned ministry programming.
-
Only regular attendees of Constance Free Church can reserve the Block Party Trailer, but you do not have to be a member.
