Membership

While many people regularly attend our weekend services or mid-week ministries and call Constance their church home, one way to express commitment to Constance is through membership. It is a commitment to embrace our vision and values, affirm our statement of faith, pray for our church, and participate as an active part of our community. Members contribute to leadership decisions by participating in votes such as the yearly budget, along with Elder and Senior Pastor affirmation decisions.

Interested in Becoming a Member?

Step 1: Attend a Membership Class

This 2-hour dinner is held quarterly and covers the story of Constance, our purpose, vision, and values as well as our Statement of Faith and other distinctive convictions.

Step 2: Complete the Membership Application

You can fill out an application online, or pick up a printed copy at the Connection Corner in our lobby on a Sunday morning.

Step 3: Interview With the Elders

Once your application has been submitted and reviewed, someone on staff will contact you to set up your interview. During this 45-60 minute meeting with two of our Elders, you will be asked to share about your personal story of faith in Jesus Christ, your current walk with Jesus, and your involvement in our church. You'll also be able to ask any questions you may have about Constance and membership.

Step 4: Affirmation of Membership

Upon the two Elders’ recommendation for membership, the entire Elder board will affirm you into the membership of Constance Free Church. You will then be contacted by an Elder to affirm your membership, and will be recognized at our Annual Meeting in July.
